Below the cover image of your Facebook Fanpage you can see the thumbnail for four applications. The first one is always Photos.  If you use 3rd party application for the other three, you can customize the thumbnail for the app (instead of leaving the default image) with your own image. This image should be 111×74 pixels,  JPG/GIF/PNG format and not bigger than 5MB.

In the video below you’ll learn

1) How to change the app thumbnail on Timeline for Facebook Pages

2) How to change the placement of app thumbnails (so that you can show the three that you want below your cover image)

3) A simple trick to make the Photos look like a customized thumbnail as well.

Social Friends Reviews

by paulinobrener on April 30, 2012

At Social Media Travelers  we like to make connections and establish relationships not only with people in general but with other businesses as well.  At the beginning of April we celebrated our 300 fans on our Facebook page by creating a directory of our Social Friends.   Check them out here and give them some love. You might find something for you.

Recently we reached 400 fans and we wanted to take it a step further.  We created our Social Friends Reviews page.  There not only we listed name, Facebook page and Website of people and businesses who connected with us but also we created a space to offer some simple reviews of their pages, highlighting what they are doing well and providing some take away tips for everyone. Check it out HERE.

To participate in the Social Friends Reviews page leave us a comment here or on our Facebok page. THANKS! GRACIAS!

There is a difference between “liking” a Facebook Page from your profile or “liking” a Page when you are using Facebook “as your Page.”   When you use your profile that “Like” will count towards the total of Likes for that page. When you use “Facebook as Page,” the Page you liked will appear in the “Likes” section of your own page.  See the video below
